There's an interesting post in the Hodiau Direkton message board regarding the possibility that the band were pointing up the microphones towards the ceiling in some instances. Because the ceiling has geometric protrusions, it would have an effect on the sound that is being recorded. Very interesting point though I'm not sure it's by the same person.
You know what be cool? If Stanley showed up once in a while to give a little insight on some of his artworks. These stuff are so beautiful and confusing at the same time. It is nice to have some of his works promoted around the globe and kept here in the archives.
If A boudoir is a lady's private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning "to pout". Historically, the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms of a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber and in later periods, it was used as a private drawing room, and used for other activities, such as embroidery or entertaining intimate acquaintances...
Then a "Boidoir" might be the male equivilant in the haunted Radiohead house?
wb, look up "The Houses And The Sound Of Different Rooms, and crevices" in the Dead Air Space forum of the Hodiau Direkton message board if you get a chance so you can read the entire post. Really interesting stuff.

ReplyDeleteon another note:
hey dude, it'd like be totally cool if stanley not only did artworks and what not, but also played an sinstrument on the new album!
it'd also be cool if i didn't sound like such a boring LA mop feen. using words like "totally" and "dude".
but stanley should play an instrument. at least a whistle or something.
Stanley could bang two pencils together for 'Down is the New Up'
