I think it's more likely, that they're sharing -like previously- things and objects that sorround them while the progress of creating is going on. Loads of information that in itself may not mean anything what so ever, but is part of the rooms in which something new is coming along, like the tiny pixel in a corner of a picture, in itself nothing much, but indisposable; like the chair someone sits on while singing or painting or playing, the chair won't make it in a mix, but was still a part of the ride.

    Anyway.

I like this picture, maybe because I have a thing for sketches (or the telephone doodles people make). It's funny to see from where a more known series of pictures originated.

ever wonder what the tentacles coming out of the sea and raping the buildings are meant to be?

i think stan has an irrational fear of octopusi, and the eraser artwork is not infact about london going underwater, but being attacked by giant octopusi.

still, this sketch is rubbash compared to the finished product. i think it looks pretty ugly on its own until you realise what it developed into.

I did think of your "tentacles" as as stylized fire.

  11. Click on the link that says 'scrapbook' on the left side of Dead Air Space. It'll take you there. Ever since the changes I can't access it with my netscape browser, though. :-(

  13. I'm glad they posted this one. Especially because we hadn't seen any of the early Eraser sketches.

i also have always thought of the "tentacles" as plants, specifically vines.
