Theres a map theme with the red dots/Suburbia theme with the Down is the new Up logo thing and this one. We have like three themes going at once with Stanley's artwork. I'm thinking they're specifically made for 3 seperate EP's or something. There's way too many artworks to throw into one CD booklet.
its obvious from the tone of the blue that it has some blood spill in the color-negative version. (which gives a peace to the nonfinishedness) the person who did this, if like me, probably needs to spill blood(red ink/paint) onto the lines and all that's done on the paper. Because he is not satisfied with the result anyways. Blood seems to fix it all. the creases make you feel the urge to dip your fingers in the picture and try to smoothen the surface, pull it from the sides or to wrinkle it more/ to punch it or to squeeze it. but in the original black version, the creases seem to be permanent. hurtful to touch maybe. like nerves. looks harder.

This is brilliant. "Arpeggi" for the Underwater/Etchings; "Videotape" for the Suburban images; "15 Step" for the Maps...
Isn't it similar to "Etchings", from March 28th?
ReplyDeleteLooks to me...
...as well as similar to "Thermal Femme Detail"...
ReplyDeleteyup. same innuendo qualities as thermal femme. hur hur hur.
ReplyDeleteaw c'mon now who doesn't appreciate boobies?!
ReplyDelete:D
yes. innuendo. although that does seem to imply a more discursive tone than the perpetrators may be intending. its early days still.
ReplyDeleteI love this one. This one and the Thermal Femme Detail are amongst my favourites. This one would make an amazing album cover.
ReplyDeletelooks like a watery undersea scene....
ReplyDeletemaybe
I like this one best so far.
