  1. this seems to be very radioheadish...
to sign seems to be telling us that one can't come back where one started (opposite what happens in 15 step)...

do they have an art theme for every song now?

  2. It's quite nice ..though I think to my personal taste, it seems somewhat rushed or messy?

Perhaps (no, I don't want to make cover art predictions) this is a play of layout, where everything goes and what colours ect?

*putting too much into things / runs from the computer to avoid the rotten tomatoes*

  3. I doubt it'd seem particularly rushed to us if we hadn't seen the process leading up to it. I like it! Very Radiohead, but it also has a solidity and clarity of space which may reflect the music.

It seems more like a back cover than a front cover to me.

  4. well, i think that instead of a finished picture, here we have some sort of "test image" to see how the signs fit better with the background, or something....
but it's true that the signs are really desorganized, so maybe it's nothing serious/important/definitive.

  5. It reminds me a bit of the "Paranoid Android" single artwork. It really would make a good image for the "15 Step" single. The haphazard arrangement of the signs does not bother me. What does confuse me a bit is the connection between all these 'worried about' signs and the song. I'm not getting it.

  6. weren't the colours for httt from US road signs? and now we have British road signs! The font for those is called Transport Medium, by the way. It's available if you sniff around.

You can not will spontaneity. But you can introduce an unpredictable, spontaneous factor with a pair of scissors. Like Tzara, Burroughs and Gysin before him, Mister Yorke uses the cut-up method to juxapose his lyrics, just as Mister Donwood effectively creates a collage with seemingly unrelated signage that emerge quite coherent and meaningful when compared with the rest of his latest body of work.

But of course I could be wrong, lol :)

  11. The format of some of these makes it seem like they will be the cover art for the singles.
